Step 1: Check that you have a business account
Go to Pinterest or Pinterest Account Settings. Look for the following under Account Settings:
If you see either of these prompts to unlock and use business tools, you don’t have a business account. If you navigate to Pinterest | Account Settings and you see the below top navigation you’re definitely in a business account.
Step 2: If you don’t have a business account, create one.

Q: Once I connect my Pinterest, how far back will I be able to see?
A: On the date you connect you'll see data as far back as 90 days for individual Pin stats, with an estimate for all time. After your connection is live for 90 days, you’ll be able to see back as far as your connection date for individual Pin stats. Your follower data will only start from your connection date onwards as we can't access historical data.
Q: Why did my Pinterest disconnect?
A: Pinterest accounts on the Dash Hudson platform will disconnect when there is a password change and/or when a brand revokes the Dash Hudson app access in their Pinterest account settings. There may also be issues if your account isn’t configured as a business account. If you try to re-connect and it doesn’t work please let us know!
