Diversity
Be recognized as one of Nova Scotia’s most diverse employers with diversity at every level of our company. This includes increased representation of BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ people.

Our Strategy
Dash Hudson launched a five-year diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy that focuses on creating strategic actions that help us achieve our goals. Here are some of the initiatives that we have at Dash Hudson:
Full Team Ownership
Advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion requires a clear plan with everyone on board. Dash Hudson empowers employees to get involved at the individual, team, and company level.
Data and Reporting
Collecting job candidate and employee demographic data to ensure that we are reaching diverse communities with job postings, hiring talent that reflects our communities, and ensuring every team member has opportunities to grow.
Scholarships
Offering annual scholarships at Dalhousie University and Nova Scotia Community College to support students that identify as members of equity-deserving groups ease the financial component of post-secondary education.
Donation Matching Program
Supporting causes in our communities that are employee led. Dash Hudson matches 100% of employee donations twice a year.
Learning Opportunities
Hosting culture conversations during employee onboarding to learn what diversity, equity, and inclusion means at Dash Hudson. We offer continuous training through Lunch and Learn series and independent learning.
Inclusion
Instilling a sense of belonging and inclusion is essential to the Dash Hudson DNA by promoting inclusive language, policies, team bonding activities, and more.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Champions
Reaching our goals takes teamwork. Dash Hudson established a group of employees to work with the senior leadership team and People Operations team to drive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives at each level of the company. Each year Dash Hudson welcomes a new group of employees to be DEI champions to drive strategic actions.
